Best Paper Award

This new award initiated by the European Control Association, EUCA, was handed out for the first time at ECC 2024. The basis for judgement will be originality, potential impact on any aspect of control theory, technology, or implementation. The ECC Best Paper Award Committee will consider the importance and practical significance in applications, and the clarity of the writing.

There is no nomination process for this award.

The winner of 2024 ECC Best Paper Award is Vladimirov, Igor G.; Petersen, Ian R. Decoherence time control  by interconnection for finite-level quantum memory systems.

The winner of 2025 ECC Best Paper Award is Pierre-Alexandre Bliman for his paper “Basic Offspring Number and Robust Feedback Design for the Biological Control of Vectors by Sterile Insect Release Technique.”
